Join thousands of gardening enthusiasts at Historic Garden Week in Virginia this April. This statewide event features dozens of home and garden tours and trips around some of Virginia' historic landmarks. Enjoy spring blooms and educational events all week long.
Historic Garden Week Virginia is an annual gathering of gardening enthusiasts and horticulturalists welcoming spring blooms. This is an 8-day statewide event that gives visitors a chance to see the beautiful springtime colors of Virginia, take house and garden tours, and see thousands of dazzling flower arrangements created by members of the Garden Club of Virginia.
Tours take place all over Virginia and those visiting the Chesapeake Bay Area can enjoy the events hosted by The Huntington and The Hampton Roads Garden Clubs. This year's tour takes place around the beautiful homes overlooking the Chesapeake Bay with a visit to historic homes around the Fort Monroe national monument. Explore the sweeping porches, beautiful gardens, and scenic streetscapes around these immaculate homes that have been preserved for decades.
Whether you want to spend a few days this spring taking home tours or just want to explore some of the beautiful gardens and landscapes around Chesapeake Bay, Garden Week in Virginia is the perfect opportunity to do just that. You'll be able to meet hundreds of fellow gardening enthusiasts over the weeklong event and interact with volunteers and event organizers that have made this annual event a great success.
This year's event runs from April 23 through April 30 at more than 250 of Virginia's most beautiful homes, estates, and historic landmarks.
